Over and above business services, we also cater to the needs of the employees and at times, the employer themselves.

Every company’s staff goes through tough times. Most of them call it a lull and in a day or two their mood is lifted again.

But in many cases, employees sink into a deeper and deeper hole of dissatisfaction, depression, animosity toward colleagues and a very real (albeit irrational) fear that they may be dismissed at any moment.

Of course, they keep quiet and soldier on, but while that is happening, productivity, morale and teamwork suffers. We can help these individuals, privately, confidentially and with the experience of many years behind us.

Career Advice

6 plus years of carefully observing human behaviour has taught me a lot about why people do what they do, why they are the way they are and of late I have started engaging with groups about what they dread most.

While the answers weren’t all directly work-related, an overwhelming amount mentioned things that indirectly link to the what they do, the hours they work and their mood especially.

Do what you love’ is a classic that’s been thrown around by successful people claiming they always dreamed about what they’re doing now. That is so obviously false.

THE SECRET TO HAPPINESS IS TO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO ENJOY WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.

It’s called PURPOSE. Most of us have a deep desire to do good in the world, but is overwhelmed with the things that inspire them to push through.

Depression killing productivity

1. SNOOZING YOUR ALARM WAY MORE THAN IS NATURAL (EFFECTIVE WORKERS DON’T SNOOZE THEIR ALARM EVEN ONCE)
2. NOT CARING ABOUT YOUR APPEARANCE;
3. WITHDRAWING FROM MEETINGS;
4. FEELING IRRITABLE WITH YOUR SPOUSE / COMPANION;
5. ALWAYS THINKING OF WORK AND FEEL YOU CAN’T SHUT OFF;
6. UNABLE TO STAY IN THE MOMENT WHEN YOU’RE IN A SOCIAL SITUATION;
7. ALWAYS TALKING AND COMPLAINING  ABOUT WORK;
8. PARANOID ABOUT BEING FIRED, THEREFORE WORKING LONGER AND LONGER HOURS;
9. FINDING SOLACE IN PORN, ALCOHOL AND / OR OTHER DRUGS;

Scientists have found that the more often people snooze their alarm, the more likely they are to be suffering from career-related depression.

Most often the reason for that is the monotony of the work you do. And who can blame you?

Our workforce has become a depressed state and our employers do not know how to fix it.

You might not be surprised to know most of these scenarios occur a) mostly in men (but a large minority of women too), and b) they feel that they’re not living up to the standards society and they themselves set. And they’re not.

This can start very early in a career. 21-year-old’s, considering they’re most likely they’re doing a job they’re didn’t choose because it fits their desire, but because there just isn’t jobs available.

The pseudo-solutions are there. Psychology, then psychiatry, medication and hopefully, you’ll be “better” in a couple of weeks.

Rinse. Repeat. Your body will betray you real quickly by becoming accustomed to the medication. Trust me, I suffer(ed) from all of these conditions and it takes more than a pill to keep me functioning.

I’m not saying don’t go to a professional to the get accurate medicinal assistance.

But answer me this: “Have you ever wondered if the professional you speak with have suffered the way that you have?”

Together with proper medication, properly diagnosed, speaking to someone who went through the exact same issues for the last 20+ years WILL add tools you can use to cope with, and even beat some of these conditions.

*I may not prescribe you a pill. I won’t even recommend one. But when I say I know 100% how you feel and have probably gone through the exact same problems, I am more than equipped to help. Let’s talk.” – Henré
